• Check you have the right board

  One command tells you whether this firmware fits your board.

• Gather what you need

  A card, a card reader, a mains USB charger, and an attenuator before anything transmits.

• Put the firmware on a card

  Download the latest release and write it, from Linux or Windows.

• Connect and find the board

  Two USB cables, one minute, then 192.168.2.1 or fishball.local.

• Check what it runs

  Confirm the board booted the firmware you wrote.

• Before you transmit

• Use the radio: capture IQ, SDR++, aircraft (ADS-B), watch a sweep live.
• Change the address or name: change the IP address.
• Stop typing the password: log in with a key.
